VCS Conference 2008 - Worcestershire Infrastructure Consortium
The Conference - run by WIC - saw a broad range of attendees predominantly from the VCS, but also with strong attendance from the Statutory Sector. A full attendees’ list is available in appendix 1.

The Safer Communities Presentation was followed by table discussion groups on the same topic asking for:

The afternoon block saw a shift in form from speakers to workshops. These workshops investigated a number of topics as below:
• Signposting– ‘How could this work for your organisation?’
• Compact – ‘How is Compact working three years on?’
• VCS Voice Hub: Representation Workshop - ‘What is the role of the VCS Representative?’
• Volunteering Hub: ‘What is the value of volunteers to your organisation?’
• Business Support Hub: ‘What does Business Support mean in the Voluntary Sector?’
