Business Support

The Business Support Hub aims to provide access to the appropriate information, advice and support needed, by new and existing voluntary and community sector groups and organisations, to develop and sustain high quality service delivery.

The Business Support Hub meets bi-annually to determine the strategic direction of WIC’s business support service provision. A training sub-group meets approximately every six weeks to identify training needs and to jointly plan training provision.

How is support provided?

Our aim is to make our WIC member services as accessible as possible, both geographically and through different methods of delivery. Therefore you can access our services through one or more of the following ways:

WIC’s Business Support Offer

By contacting WIC member organisations (see our Home page for details) you can access information, advice and support across the county of Worcestershire.

We endeavour to meet demand and to provide support as in depth as your organisation needs. We either provide this support at your first point of contact with one of our member organisations, or we signpost to the most appropriate support for you within the consortium, or we may signpost you to support outside of the consortium if we cannot provide it internally.

Like all Third Sector organisations, WIC members have limited resources and whilst we strive to provide our services free or at a subsidised rate, sometimes a particular service may not be available or may only be available at full cost.
