Worcestershire County Council  are giving grants to support the Voluntary &
Community Sector (VCS) organisations in Worcestershire, whose activities contribute towards identified outcomes for the community. For background information about the VCS Grants scheme and information about when funding is available

What's available in round 7?

Celebrating Diversity

A total of £10,000 is available for grants to help VCS organisations celebrate diversity through raising knowledge and understanding and encouraging interaction, eg. a celebration day in the community. The maximum to be applied for under this grant is £1,000.

Previous examples of this grant are:
An organisation used County Council funding to hold an open day to celebrate the diversity of deafness and British Sign Language showcasing the history and culture of deaf people.

An organisation used a County Council grant to fund a one off community event called 'food around the world'. This event embraced a variety of different cultures in the community through activities around food and also music.
