Economy Watch Taskforce Delivery Group

The EWTF has set up a delivery group. The delivery group has identified nine aims to help the local economy (in no particular order).

1. Improve procurement arrangements.

2. Provide support for community & rural issues.

3. Use websites & other media to signpost & communicate.

4. Work with Local Strategic Partnerships( LSPs) to help town centres mitigate the impact of the recession.

5. Help rural economy

6. Identify public sector projects that could be brought forward and contribute to local spend.

7. Launch a keep it local campaign.

8. Support businesses

9. Provide people with adequate skills.
