30th June 2010
Dear colleagues,
Worcestershire County Council values the work of voluntary and community organisations and recognises the importance of working in partnership with you. For the last two years the organisations of the Worcestershire Infrastructure Consortium have received a strategic grant from the Council which contributes to the development of voluntary and community organisations.
You may have accessed advice and support in this time, in a variety of ways for a variety of reasons e.g. assistance with starting a new organisation, business planning, fund finding, personnel advice, volunteering, representation on a strategic group etc. The Council are interested to discover how you accessed this support; if you accessed it and how you would most like to receive assistance in the future. To do this we have asked the University of Worcester to undertake some research on our behalf.
The research will comprise of a brief survey, some telephone interviews with a sample set of organisations and a small number of face to face meetings with providers of this advice and assistance. The survey is now available for completion on the following link to Survey Monkey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/WVMTPT5
Please take a few minutes to share your experience and views by completing the short survey which is available until June 7th. Your views will inform and guide Worcestershire County Council in providing best value for money. I would like to thank you in anticipation for your response.
Yours faithfully
Suzy James
Voluntary and Community Sector Coordinator
