Chief Executive

22 Hours Per Week

Salary £25,320 p.a. (pro rata) plus contributory pension

Based in Droitwich Spa, Age Concern Droitwich Spa and District is locally acknowledged and respected for the standard of services and opportunities it provides for and on behalf of older people.

As well as the usual excellent management, business and personal skills, we need a Chief Executive who will go the extra mile.

Since our inception, Age Concern Droitwich Spa and District has:-

• Developed a Home Support and Sitting Service
• Established an Information Centre and Wellcheck Assessment Service
• Researched and Developed a Gardening/Handyperson Service
• Established Healthy Living Courses
• Developed new Day Activities from the original Day Centres
• Cemented strong links with Schools and other community groups to promote the needs of older people
• Maintained a strong relationship with Social Services, and Town/County/ District Councils
• Taken part in Droitwich Spa and County events and charity activities

We need an enthusiastic person who has an interest in promoting the needs of older people, the drive to continue to develop services in line with user requirements and a commercial acumen to bid for and run service contracts. Above all the ideal person will need to be a good communicator both internally with staff, trustees and other Age Concerns and externally with funding providers and service users.
