July 2009 - Report on recent economic downturn survey now published

A report on a recent survey looking at the impact of the economic downturn on local third sector support providers has now been published. It is available at the building resilience area of the new Improving Support website here

The findings provide valuable information about the scale of demands facing local support providers at present; your concerns about income - particularly over the medium term; and the range of actions you are taking to ensure you are able to continue to provide high quality support to frontline organisations.

Capacitybuilders will continue to build on the evidence base around the impact of changing economic circumstances on the support sector, as a key contribution to thinking about existing and future support for the sector. They are planning a further survey six months on from this one to track changing patterns of demand and funding.
