Oct' 2009 - Comic Relief Funds Now Open

The UK Grant giving stream for Comic Relief is now open. In essence they accept applications from the voluntary and community sector throughout the UK including: constituted voluntary and community groups, charities, social enterprises, co-operatives, faith organisations, and community interest companies.

There are a number of different strands to the application including:-

· Mental Health

· Domestic and Sexual Abuse

· Refugee and Asylum Seeking Women

· Sport for Change

· Young People aged 11-25:

· Sexually Exploited and Trafficked Young People

· Young People and Alcohol

· Young People with Mental Health Problems

· Local Communities

· Young Carers (managed by the Princess Royal Trust for Carers)

· Older People
