Bursaries may be available in cases where attendance would not otherwise be possible
By the end of today delegates will:
• understand the term Support and Supervision
• recognise the value of Support and Supervision to both the organisation and the volunteer
• understand what is good Support and Supervision
• recognise the skills needed to give Support and Supervision to volunteers
• have looked at support for people with additional support needs
• have agreed when, where and how to use supervision
Sandy Leong has headed up Sahara Consultancy for the last 15 years. She started her career as a teacher, before moving to the voluntary sector where she held several developmental roles. She specialises in helping organisations get the most from their volunteers.
