VCS Representatives’ Listening and Leadership Event – ‘Leadership of Our Sector through Representation’

Age Concern Herefordshire and Worcestershire, Malvern Gate, Worcester, WR2 4BN. 12 midday – 2pm including a working lunch

On behalf of WIC (Worcestershire Infrastructure Consortium) we would like to invite all VCS Representatives to attend a VCS Representatives’ ‘Listening and Leadership Event’ on Thursday 30th September 2010 from 12 midday – 2pm. Lunch will be provided.

Our theme will be: Leadership of Our Sector through Representation. As a part of the session Maggie Bryan , Worcestershire Partnership’s Development Manager, has kindly agreed to discuss Strategic Leadership and VCS Influence – Worcestershire Partnership Re-structure. We will also have a chance to discuss ‘Feedback and Leadership - the Importance of Cross-sector Communications’ and ‘VCS Leadership in this Changing Financial and Political Environment.’ This event will be an excellent opportunity to coordinate our views on the above topics and communicated our shared views to the wider sector; as with your help, and consultation from the event, we aim to produce a ‘briefing sheet which will be signposted to via October’s edition of the quarterly magazine ‘The Voice’.
