Volunteering
The Volunteering Hub is one of the three sub-groups of WIC.
We work in partnership
We work in partnership
- to increase standards and provision of services
- offering peer support to each other
- being responsive to local policy developments
- addressing gaps in provision whilst maintaining a local presence in the form of independent Volunteer Centres.
We are all working at the moment to achieve our Volunteering England accreditation.
On behalf of WIC we organise the Worcestershire Volunteering Forum twice a year in March and in October.

We act as ‘Champions of Volunteering’ and as such we promote the Vounteering Code of Practice amongst the groups and services we work with.
The present membership of this Hub are mainly Chief Officers of generic infrastructure organisations with Volunteer Centre remit in Worcestershire:
